I would say the plugin has a tiny bit wider stereo, sub bass and less highend. But in the 0.5 db kind of difference. Realy no more reason to buy the hardware, this is absolutly fantastic! Great job!!!

Right off the bat this doesn’t say the most basic thing… that Repab has an Essentials stripped down version and a full one.

97% close to the trained ear their is a difference the hardware has a bigger feel in the low mids sounds more dynamic and the bigest difference is the image not to say that the plugin is not worthy it defiantly is its just physics of actual converters of the unit is hard to replicate .

This is a great plugin but I do not understand why the audio clips you have a fully wet. It doesn't enable us to determine the sonic similarities fully. So sip is an absolutely stellar reverb, I'd say it's better than the Uad 224.

Stellar work as always. A company that's just not bothered with selling plugins but also to the actual art of music engineering and production. Bought Sonsiq reverb from these guys and it's incredibly amazing.

PLEASE don't use those over pitch quantised vocals, they're far too distracting and make it hard to take it seriously.

I love when vocals, instruments sound like they are floating on a cloud. That's what I love about the Lex 224 & 480.

the lx480 is my fav plugin of all time. but this jazz mix sounds truly truly horrible

5:45 With V3, you could load both those presets with one plugin and the CPU usage is much less with V3. With V4 you cannot load both of those presets he is using with just one instance of V4. you have to 'stack them' and the CPU usage is greater.

So dual engine means you get two versions of the plugin at the same time? What's the difference in just loading two up at the same time?

Listen, jack, I would probably add even more verbastics, but I would cut it right and exactly at the end of dry, to sort of hide it, don't you know. Have you ever tried that?

Its so easy to judge the difference until you dont look at the screen and try to guess when the switch between the two takes place.

Why cant you load your "favorite patches" on both engines ? Seems like I was able to load 2 separate patches on V3

Unfortunately when doing the spring effect the DAW was muted. Hope you can re-up this video with that issue fixed. Otherwise a fantastic learning experience!

Thank you for the tutorial. The content was great but those silly woosh sound effects and the "Listen Now" with the countdown were pointless and distracting. It's hard to believe anyone spent time in post actually adding that.

Excellent demo of a great Reverb. I've got the Relab LX480 Essentials for free when I'd bought a Pulsar bundle last Christmas. Don't think for a minute the Essentials version is weak, it's very good in its own right. The dual engine though, wow. Yep, on my wishlist. In fact I've got that discount offer...😮

Why you use E1, no E2. I think 2 Reverb - you will use both E1 and E2?

The interface on my Essentials is way different & therefore very confusing to follow along. Nothing happens when clicking "preset" & the only 2 choices it gives me in the upper right dropdown are "Random Hall" & "Random Hall D". I saw some preset folders when trying the load button, but didn't see any plates in there whatsoever. Also nearly every video I've seen on LX480 shows "Plate/Hall/Amb/Room" buttons right on the interface. These are missing as well as the "hardware mode" switch you show here. along with other paramaters
